The 1st graders collected the most socks during our Socktober event and will be rewarded with a pizza party. Collectively, Blackwater Student Council has 802 pairs of socks to donate to local shelters. Thank you for your support!

Unless it is raining at 2:30, we will have the Monster March downtown on Main Street tomorrow. It is suppose to stop around noon. If you plan to have goodies to pass out, we will have about 100 students. (In case of rain, we will hold it in the gym.)

Next Friday, September 24 is the Miami Track Meet. Please be sure to return the orange permission slips by Tuesday, Sept. 21. Students MUST wear tennis shoes. We will change into orange shirts as the students arrive to school. We plan to leave the school at 8:30 am. Events start at 9:30 am.

Exciting News! The USDA has extended the waiver that will allow us to provide FREE meals (breakfast and lunch) to all students during the 2021-2022 school year.
