Congratulations to our Bulldogs who earned Principal's Honor Roll and Honor Roll for 1st Quarter.

School will be in session for the Bulldogs on Wednesday. Thank you to those parents who have been contacted by the bus drivers and have been willing to help with alternate pickup locations. We can’t wait to be back at it!!
Tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 23, will be an AMI for the Bulldogs. Teachers are sending home AMI work or have told the students what they need to do. This means there is no high school bus to Boonville.
Weekly planner attached! Reminder that we have school tomorrow.

More Lep Cookie making...

Earlier this week 5th grade was the first of hopefully many to participate in a new tradition. We were invited by the mayor of Blackwater to make and enter a batch of the new official Christmas cookie of Blackwater, the Lep Cookie! We were privileged enough to have the company of Monna Schuster in the kitchen to teach us how to make them. We learned about the science, math, and practiced the culinary skills that come with baking. In the classroom, we learned about holiday traditions, especially that of the Lep cookie. We learned about the history and importance of oral traditions as well. Not only did we have fun but they were pretty tasty! Come check out the results of the contest tomorrow at the Blackwater Christmas Market!

Candy Cane sales start on Tuesday. All proceeds go to the 8th grade class trip.

Here are the tournament brackets for next week's Conference Tourney at Orearville.

December menu: We will follow Wednesday's menu tomorrow.

Here is the calendar for the 12 days of Christmas dress-days along with a simple little “challenge” daily. Please don’t stress out if you don’t have ithe dress-up items. It’s all for fun! I know the students (and teachers) will be excited to know that Christmas trivia will return next Tuesday. That is always a fun time!
